The Business and Workforce report captures the stats behind the 11-county Metro MSP region’s available workforce and business base. The report can be customized for an individual county or city. It includes:

• Total Establishments
• Total Employees
• Total Establishment by Size
• Total Businesses by Establishment Type
• Total Employees by Occupation
• Total Employees by Major SIC
• Total Employees by Establishment Type

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) produces longer-range labor force estimates and projections. The projections go out to 2030:
